I am so grateful for the experience, the tools and life-long sober friendships that I gained from Cornerstone. The culture needs a complete overhaul in order for this company with much potential to continue providing the best care possible for their patients while also taking care of their staff.You Don't Have To Live In Active Addiction No one likes to work in a tyrannical workplace where the only recognition staff gets is when someone makes a mistake which I believe fosters laziness. Laziness has become a competition for a lot of employees there. Talent is underutilized and sometimes unrecognized. ![]() Also, more time is spent on data entry than building relationships with their clients. Their licensed employees likely spend less time with their clients which are supposed to be their number one focus. There most skilled counselors are actually not working with their patients. Pretty skilled staff in some areas but no matter your skill level, letters behind your name will get you automatic special treatment. Yet when their employees became sick with Covid they did not pay, they made employees dive into the negative for personal and sick time which takes months to pay back. They removed the hazard pay only to spend thousands of dollars on lunches once a week. They provided lunch during covid after removing the hazard pay in which the hazard is still very present (Covid). They cut costs usually at the expense of their employees. Morale is low and it is felt in every area, this feeling of being unappreciated. Employees usually only hear from management once something is wrong and they are reprimanding. The culture has been moving more and more towards a tyrannical workplace.
